"A giant killing" - Mickey Thomas

When Arsenal visited the Racehourse Ground in 1992, the gulf of divisions was one of the few reasons that no one could look past the Gunners. However, it's the FA Cup, and special things can happen in 90 minutes of an FA Cup tie. Alan Smith put Arsenal 1-0 up just before half time, and it looked all over for the Red Dragons. But just minutes into the second half it was clear Wrexham weren't going down without a fight. And they spent 35 minutes giving their all. In the 82nd minute, Wrexham had a free kick. Thomas runs up to it and puts his foot straight through the ball. It's heading towards Seaman's goal and he gets a hand to it, but that's not enough to stop it and the ball sails into the top corner. 1-1. What came next was magical. Wrexham went 2-1 up thanks to a goal from Steve Watkin, and just moments later, when the ref blew for full time, the fans were on the pitch. The magic of the cup delivering one hell of a giant killing.
