22 years in waiting, Scotland find themselves 1 match away from Euro 2020, but the odds were stacked against them. They found themselves against a Serbia side with a spine full of talent. Scotland took the lead, but they couldn't hold off the Serbians, who equalised in the 90th minute via a Luka Jovic header. The next 30 minutes of extra time were hard to watch. Serbia tried everything to snatch a winner, but they could just not break down the Scottish wall. So it was down to penalties. Scotland, with the hopes of the nation on their shoulders, cooly slotted every single one of their penalties into the corners. So up stepped Aleksandar Mitrović. He aims for the bottom right. David Marshall gets a stiff arm to it. It wasn't over yet though. Marshall had to confirm he had at least one foot on the line. Marshall looks at the ref... the ref nods... Scotland are heading to the Euros!
