Luton Town's victory in 1988 is still widely recognised as the greatest day in the club's history, and is still up there among the best cup finals in the last 100 years. Luton took an early lead, but normal service resumed when Arsenal scored a quick-fire double in the second half. Arsenal then had the opportunity to close the game off with an 80th minute penalty, but stand in goalkeeper, Andy Dibble, thought otherwise and turned Winterburn's penalty around the post. Minutes later, Danny Wilson headed home to equalise and send the game to extra time. But, as Arsenal prepared for another 30 minutes, Stein sneaked in to score a 90th minute winner and hand Luton their first major trophy.
